What areas/locations do you cover?
I’m currently working in the East Midlands area.

What if I’m unable to describe the type of drumming I want in my music?
Don’t worry if you’re not familiar with the technical side of drumming/percussion, or haven’t had any experience working along side it. If you’re totally unsure of the sound you’d like, it would be no problem for us to meet for a rehearsal prior to going into the studio, during which we’ll come up with several different approaches. Sending a demo prior to such a rehearsal would make this even more effective.

How much do you charge?
I charge a very affordable hourly rate for studio work, plus any travel fees. If any pre-studio consultations are necessary, you will only be charged for these if you do decide to go ahead with the work discussed. Please contact me if you require further details.

What genres/styles are you able work with?
I’m able to work with all genres/styles of music and enjoy doing so. Please don’t assume I won’t want to work with you if you’re a certain genre as I like a very wide variety.

What experience have you had?
I’ve played in/worked with a large number of varied bands; this has increased my flexibility and given me the ability to read songs quick enough for non-rehearsed live stand in work. As well as countless hours of drumming in my Gran’s dining room, I’ve never had a break from constant gigging, rehearsing and studio work.

Can I hear examples of your work?
All available examples of my work are posted on my portfolio page.

What is the procedure of you playing on my tracks?
This is in you’re hands as I’m providing the service for you. For example you might prefer to send me a demo/rough version of your tracks before going into the studio, or have several rehearsals beforehand so I can experiment with your tracks, working closer with you to get the sound you want. If you would prefer to do none of the above, I have no problem going into the studio to improvise. When in the studio, my preferred method of recording is to play along to a pre-recorded track (or live track). I will play to a metronome in addition to a track if preferred. Though, as stated, it’s in your hands and entirely up to you how we go about it.

Can you play other percussion/electronics?
Yes, I’m able to play all types of percussion and electronic drums if provided. Please contact me if you require further details.

What happens if I’m not satisfied with the finished sound?
I am an easy going character; I’ve never had any problems working alongside other musicians. I have no problems taking criticism and working with the necessary feedback to achieve the required sound. If in the very unlikely event you are not satisfied with what I create and will NOT be using my tracks; I will only charge you travel costs.
